Bar stools in the Bar Harbor collection offer a quaint coastal styling their namesake suggests. Always in fashion and ready to take their place in any entertainment setting, this pair features heirloom construction in classic wicker and rattan cane framing. Backs with denser weaves at the tops incorporate inlays of open fiber spindling while sturdy low armrests provide a surround for boxy custom-fitted seat cushions. Arching aprons also feature a basket weave, and exposed cane legs are further reinforced with stretchers and smaller steam-bent cane supports. Fashionable in the early 1900s, this design remains in demand today with a host of finish choices ranging from traditional to bold and eclectic. For covered porch or deck areas, an acrylic coating is an optional choice.

The Natural Finish is “Natural & Green” in the raw state; No Top Coat, No Stain and No Finish. Factory uses only Grade “A” White Wicker for the Natural Product Line. Grade A is earned because of the lack of blemishes in the wicker or rattan, hand picking only color consistent pieces of wicker and rattan for these raw pieces. A Non Toxic Sealer Coat is applied at the factory so the paint or stain does not soak through to the core of the wicker and rattan.
A Protective Finish (Acrylic Coating) a clear coat which will not be noticed by the UN-trained eye can be applied to the furniture piece to offer additional protection for the raw materials if your intentions are not to paint, stain or varnish the piece later.
